Situation
Skyside is the aviation brand of Schoeller Holdings and the Columbia Group. The company offers private jet charter and aircraft management, with offices in Vienna and Hamburg and a hangar base in Paphos.
The challenge
Private jet charter customers decide quickly and expect to be able to send an enquiry without detours. At the same time, with aircraft management Skyside addresses a second audience: owners who want their aircraft operated for them. Both have to find their way on the same homepage.
Approach
The website is built in English and has two clear entry points above the fold: “Book Your Private Jet” and “Explore Aircraft Management”. A video from the hangar sets the tone.
The fleet overview shows twelve aircraft from the Pilatus PC-12 to the Bombardier Global 6000, each with its own profile. Anyone who wants to book fills in the enquiry form directly on the homepage. For owners there are dedicated pages on Aircraft Management, Flight Operations, Dispatch, CAMO and Cargo. A magazine and pages on mission, management and sustainability round off the presence.
On the homepage, short sections answer the questions that come up before a booking: are there last-minute flights, can pets come along, what about safety and privacy? The IS-BAO certification and the partners from the Columbia Group, such as ACC Columbia Jet Service for maintenance, appear where trust is built. Owners can reach their Owner Portal directly from the navigation.
The design works with large images, a clear accent colour and short copy so that the enquiry stays the focus. More about how we work under Web design.
Result
Charter customers get from the homepage to the enquiry in one step. Owners find all information on aircraft management in one place, separate from the charter section. Fleet, owner services and magazine sit in one shared presence that matches the other Columbia Group brands in imagery and structure.
