SEO audit: find out what is holding your website back.
An SEO audit shows why your website is not as visible on Google as it could be, and which measures will achieve the most. The initial analysis is free: we review your website and your most important search queries and name the three biggest levers. On request, we produce the detailed audit with a complete action plan.

Video in German What the free initial analysis includes
The initial analysis answers one question: what is currently holding your website back most from being found on Google? To answer it, we look at five areas.
- Page mapping. Does every important search query have a matching page, or are several pages competing for the same topic?
- Technology. Load time, indexing, redirects and obvious errors.
- Content. Do your service pages answer the questions customers have before making an enquiry?
- Backlinks. Who links to you, and how much of it is spam?
- Competition. Who ranks at the top for your most important search queries, and how strong are those pages?
We discuss the result in a meeting. You get the three levers that will achieve the most, with an estimate of the effort.
What the detailed audit also checks
The detailed audit goes through every page and every relevant search query and ends with a complete action plan. In addition to the initial analysis, it includes:
- a complete crawl with all technical errors, sorted by impact
- a page plan that maps every relevant search query to a target page
- a keyword list with search volume, competition and purchase intent
- an assessment of the link profile with a recommendation on spam links
- a check of visibility in AI answers
- for a planned relaunch, a list of all URLs that need a redirect
Typical results of an initial analysis
The initial analysis almost always ends with a few very concrete points. Common examples: two or more pages compete for the same search query. Important services have no page of their own. A service page sits in positions 8 to 15 and only needs additions to move up. Archives and duplicates are in the index. Or the link profile looks strong but consists largely of spam. For each point you get an estimate of how much effort it takes and what it will achieve.
Why tools alone are not enough
SEO tools are good at counting errors and bad at setting priorities. A tool rates a missing alt text as just as urgent as a homepage that is not in the index. Nor does it recognise that your Domain Rating is high because spam sites link to you, or that two of your pages are taking rankings away from each other. This kind of assessment is exactly what we provide.
Who the detailed audit is worth it for
The detailed audit is worth it before a relaunch, after a drop in visibility and for websites with many pages where nobody has an overview any more. It is also worth it if you work with another agency and want an independent assessment. For small websites with only a few pages, the initial analysis is often enough.
What happens next
After the analysis, you decide. Some clients implement the levers with their own team, some book our SEO consulting for strategy and sparring, others book ongoing SEO support, where we implement everything ourselves. If the analysis shows that the website is reaching its technical limits, we talk about a website relaunch.
FAQ
Questions about SEO audit
Is the initial analysis really free?
Yes. The initial analysis and the conversation about it cost nothing and commit you to nothing. Afterwards you know whether and how we can help you, and you decide for yourself.
What does the detailed audit cost?
The detailed audit costs from €990. The scope depends on the size of the website. You receive a fixed quote in advance.
Isn't a free SEO tool enough?
Tools find technical errors, but they do not assess which of them matter for your business. A tool reports 300 warnings at once. We tell you which three to tackle first and why.
What do I need for the analysis?
For the initial analysis, only your website address and the services you want to be found for. For the detailed audit, read access to Search Console helps.

- SEO consulting For teams that do the implementation themselves: analysis, page plan and sparring with clear priorities.
- Technical SEO Load time, indexing, redirects and structured data, so Google finds and understands everything.
